AUTOVJCLUB ("we", "us", "our") sets forth this Privacy Policy ("Policy") regarding the handling of users' personal information in connection with our service.

We may collect the following information in the course of providing our service.

2.1 Google Account Information

Through Google OAuth authentication, we obtain the following information.

• Display name
• Email address
• Profile picture URL

This information is used solely for sign-in and user identification within our service.

2.2 Microphone Audio

For the song recognition feature, with the user's permission we temporarily record microphone input and transmit it to an external song recognition service (ACRCloud). Audio data is not persistently stored on our servers.

2.3 Usage Data

To improve our service, we collect the following data.

• Web analytics (Google Analytics)
• Product analytics (PostHog)
• Error and performance telemetry (Sentry)

2.4 Settings Data

For signed-in users, VJ settings data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Settings include filter values, display preferences, and the like, but do not contain personally identifying information.

2.5 Local Storage

We store settings data in the browser's localStorage. This data resides only on the user's device and is not transmitted to our servers.

3. Purpose of Use

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

• Providing, operating, and maintaining the service
• User authentication and account management
• Providing the song recognition feature
• Improving the service and developing new features
• Preventing misuse and ensuring security
• Responding to inquiries

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not provide users' personal information to any third party except in the following cases.

• With the user's consent

• When transmission to an external service is necessary to provide the service (e.g., sending audio to ACRCloud for song recognition)
